Discovery Health Medical Scheme and Discovery Health’s extensive suite of products are designed to cater to the varied health and financial needs of each individual.

In 2025, the Smart Series will be extended to include a new, affordable plan–Active Smart.  Active Smart is tailored for young professionals  and offers access to high-quality healthcare providers with Scheme-funded day-to-day benefits at the most affordable price point in the industry at only R1,350 per month.

Contributions for members of the Scheme will increase between 7.4% and 10.9% for 2025 to match the healthcare utilisation experience of its members, while supporting affordability through benefit optimisation and plan updates.

You will have the opportunity to change your plan before 30 November 2024, with effect from January 2025. 

Discovery will be presenting the new plan that has launched, and the new contributions for 2025.
